With the release of a new Kit of the famous japanese battleship Yamato Glow 2B let a modellers dream become true again.

The Yamato was the battleship. It was the largest of its kind and the heaviest too. And it was the last. With it sunk the aera of large battleships!

The kit consists of 2800 parts, has 1315mm lenght and 194mm width and earns the name of a giant project!

The hull is one piece cast!

There are  lots of photo etched parts.

USS Arizona BB-39, Battleship, Plastic Model Kit 1/200.

The Arizona was a WWI battleship that didn't made it into WWII due to the Japanese bombes that sunk it during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Inside its Hull there are still the remains of 1000 crewmen that died that day and ther still comes oil from the ground. Today the wreck it is a National Monument.

Schlachtschiff Bismarck Plastic Model Kit 1/200.

Know best in Briten as the "Hood Killer" the Bismarck is still the ship model to build!

The plastic kit comes with a one piece hull shell and deck.

1.25m long it is not a little kit, but a real model and who orderes it will be advised to ask permission form his wife first!

The kit includes also a clear gun turret with interior as an extra!

It is also a good idea to think about ordering the extra etched parts sets and especially the machined barrels for all guns. This will pay off for sure!

HMS Nelson, British Battleship 1944, 1/200 Plastic Kit.

HMS NELSON was laid down at Armstrong-Whitworth’s shipyard in Newcastle-on-Tyneon December 28th 1922, launched on September 3rd 1925, and commissioned on August 15th 1927.

In the beginning of World War II in September 1939, NELSON was serving as flagship of the Home Fleet.

In March 1941 NELSON supported the landing raid on the Lofoten Islands, Norway, against German factories producing fish oil and glycerine.

The same year NELSON transferred to the Mediterranean, taking part in one of the Malta Convoys. In November 1942, NELSON was active in the “Operation Torch” landings in French North Africa.

In July 1943, NELSON supported the Allied invasion of Sicily “Operation Husky”, and the Salernolanding in September 1943. On September 29th 1943, General Dwight D Eisenhower, on behalf of the Allies, and Marshal Badoglio of Italy signed the Italian surrender agreement aboard NELSON.

In June 1944, NELSON took part in the Normandy landings, subsequently transferring to the Indian Ocean to participate in the war on Japan in August and September 1945. The Japanese surrender of Malaya was signed aboard NELSON on September 3rd 1945.

After the war ended in 1945, NELSON was retired from active service and used on training duties until 1947, becoming a bombing target before being sold for scrap in 1948.

HMS Hood, Battlecruiser, Plastic Model Kit 1/200.

The Royal Navy battlecruiser HOOD was launched in 1918, and refurbrished in 1930 especially the armor in the front. Built for WWI it came too late. Inbetween the wars the HMS Hood was the largest battleship of the World. 1941 the Hood was sunk by the Bismarck in the Denmark Strait. A catastrophic explosion tore HOOD apart and she split in two, sinking in minutes.There were only three survivors!

To avenge the loss of HOOD, the order was given to “Sink the Bismarck”!
