P.1000 "Ratte", Deutscher Landkreuzer, WWII, Plastikbausatz, 1/72.

The Project 1000 was nicknamed "Ratte" and shows off the madness and insanety of Nazi German military developments. Historians still argue about what this project realy was a employment plan for engenieers and technicans, a propaganda information for Allied Intelligence or a real project.

The Ratte even more insane than the stupid Dora Gun design. Nonetheless it is a interesting design study, which by its dimensions has to fail right fom the beginning. Just by asking which bridge to cross with a machine like this, shows its uselessnes.
