M65 "Atomic Annie", Plastic Kit 1/35.

Artillery gun for use with nuclear ammunition.

This gun was a project of US ARMY in the 1950s and able to fire nuclear shells. Somebody in the Pentagon had had the idea and so they converted a captured German 28cm K5 Railroad Gun into Atomic Annie. The nickname comes from the 1950s Musical "Annie get your gun", which was well known at that time.

After a series of tests the gun was parked in the magazine and the ammunition sized down to 155mm calibre for use in regular howitzers!

M53 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer, Plastic Kit 1/35.

The M53 155 mm self propelled gun was designed to procure long-range fire support to allied positions while keeping pace with mechanized formations cross-country.

It was adopted in 1952 for both the Army and Marine Corps, all made by Pacific Car & Foundry Company.

As the M55 was the same vehicle designed around a 155 mm howitzer, M53s were stadardized as M55s, but production stopped in 1956 and use mantained in Vietnam by the USMC until around 1969, but many more years with NATO countries such as Belgium and Turkey.

The M55 is the bigger sister of the M53.

It gives support in short and mid range with 203mm artillery greanades.

Soviet Ball Tank "Sharotank", Kit with Interior, 1/35.

This Ball Tank is a product of the Ukrainian company MiniArt and released in the section "What if...".

This tank project was really developed in USSR during WWII although its flaws are obvious. The Tank would have worked that is sure, but had had major problems to hit a target while driving or climbing steep hills.

The model is for sure a good made kit and comes with complete interior. It is one of these kits fans of strange designes or are looking for a Sci-Fi-Conversion. It will be an eyecatcher on every model show for sure and bring along many questions too!

This M1 Super Heavy Howitzer M1 is manufactured by New Trend Industrial Co.Ltd i/Soar Art and dirtributed by Glow2B.

The M1 was a developement from WWI days that made it to the WWII with all its flaws.

Like all heavy artillery guns it wasn't state of the art any more and clumsy in handling.

Although it is a piece ot technological weapons developement that shouldn't miss in any artillery collection.
